A PLACE TO SLOW DOWN

Tucked amongst the rolling hills of our working cattle farm in Darlington, Hilltop Haven is surrounded by open paddocks, native wildlife and the peaceful rhythm of farm life. It’s a place to breathe a little deeper, slow down and enjoy the simple pleasure of being somewhere beautiful.

When we imagined Hilltop Haven, we wanted it to feel like more than somewhere to stay.

We wanted a place where you could wake slowly, enjoy a coffee overlooking the hills, spend an afternoon soaking in the outdoor bath and watch the sunset from the deck. A place to cook together, curl up with a book, share a bottle of wine and sit around the fire as the stars come out. 

There’s no need for a packed itinerary here. Sometimes the best part of getting away is simply having nowhere you need to be.

LIFE ON THE FARM

The farm is a big part of what makes Hilltop Haven what it is.

We love the open spaces, the changing seasons, the animals and the simple rhythm of country life. While the cabin gives you your own private space, you’re still surrounded by the sights and sounds of a working farm. You might see cattle grazing across the hills and spot wildlife around the property. 

It’s a genuine part of our everyday life — and something we love being able to share with our guests.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND HILLTOP HAVEN

Hilltop Haven is something we’ve created together, and every part of it is connected to our love of this place.

For Gabriella and Samuel, the farm has always been more than just a property. It’s where we spend our days, raise cattle, enjoy the outdoors and appreciate the slower pace that country life brings.

Creating Hilltop Haven gave us the opportunity to share that feeling with other people.

We wanted to create somewhere that felt personal, peaceful and a little bit removed from the everyday — while still giving our guests a genuine taste of life on the farm.

OUR LITTLE CORNER OF THE SCENIC RIM

We feel incredibly lucky to call Darlington home.

The area has that rare feeling of being beautifully removed from the busyness of everyday life, while still being close enough to explore everything the Scenic Rim has to offer.

There are local farms, country cafes, wineries, restaurants, markets, walks and plenty of beautiful places to explore.

Or you can simply stay at Hilltop Haven, take in the view and enjoy doing very little.

Hilltop Haven is a personal project for us — built from our love of the land, country life and the idea of creating somewhere people can slow down and reconnect.

Whether you’re celebrating something special, escaping for a romantic weekend, catching up with someone you love or simply craving a little peace and quiet, we hope you feel the same sense of calm here that we do.
